Hiking the Hill

The timeline came in twenties today.

10:20 woke up (yes today was a late morning!!)
12:20 decided to go hiking to Mount. Kato. For living in Minnesota, a hill that is 240 feet high is considered a mountain compared to the surrounding terrain.
1:20 entered the Red Jacked Trail
1:40 Made it to the top of Mt.Kato!
At the top of Mt.Kato, I sat on a chairlift platform and read in John.
Jesus taught about the true Bread of God being the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. (John 6:33)
 People doubted.
Jesus explained that all who eat this bread from heaven will never die. I interpret this as his word, learning from his teachings and getting to know Christ himself. "The Spirit alone gives eternal life." (John 6:63)
People disbelieved.
Disciples turned and deserted Jesus.
The twelve promised to never leave his side, and so they traveled around Galilee, staying out of Judea because Jesus knew that Jewish leaders were plotting his death. Jesus explains, " The world can't hate you, but it does hate me because I accuse it of doing evil."(John 7:7) His message was not his own, for it came from His father.
People tried to arrest Jesus.
Jesus explains that rivers of living waters flow from his heart speaking about the spirit that would be given to all whom believed.
Crowds divided on who Jesus was.
2:20 Departed for the excursion home.
3:20 Arrived back home.
Then I took a detox bath
{ 2c. Epsom Salt, 1c. Baking Soda in a hot hot bath for 20 minutes}

Reading in the Word today, thinking about how people lived in disbelief. They were actually seeing Jesus perform the miracles and yet the disbelieved. Just like us, we have circumstances that happen, events in our lives that were clearly directed by God, and yet we still mutter and sulk in disbelief. To be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, it takes endurance and deep deep wells to which we can store our faith and test it out. (Hebrews 12:1)

I took pictures along the way to Mt Kato, so go ahead, be adventurous and come along...

Back home! Nice 12 mile hike today. Yes it rained, but the rain is beautiful.
