The First Beam

Good Day!
The morning time has a special place in my heart.
Each one represents a fresh and new day. Its Creator fills the atmosphere with a refreshing chill as the sun stretches across the virgin land. His mercies are new. Each morning is a message from our Creator that He isn't finished with us yet. Our days are laid before us, undone and simple. Unwritten and witty, our days eagerly await their time. Strategically, the morning always comes first. From the moment creation wakes, their minds become flooded with the days possible outcome. They want to know what the day will bring. Some mornings they wake with joy, peace and security. Sometimes, morning comes with a pang of regret or the sting of stress. To creations advantage, they can dismiss these thoughts and begin anew. He tells them to rise up and seize what has been taken from them (Exodus 8:20).
The ground is quite. Its stillness hides all the scurry from the past nighttime. Just as a dance performance. All of nature shifts moves and chases, until the sunbeams. That first laser of sunshine races throughout the land blessing all it touches. The few that experience the early morning understand its beauty. Before creation corrupts the day’s innocence, the morning sings of His glory. The flowers open up, like the heart of a new believer. Its petals stretch open and turn towards the one and only sun. Flutter. God’s beloveds begin to open their eyes. Creation cannot help it. They resemble the flower. Crawling out of stillness, Gods creation stretches open. Their inner structure longs to reach up. Twenty-four white curved bars expand while creation feeds on mornings refreshing chill. Its unspoken dialogue with nature affirms His brilliance.
Tranquil waters testify about the nighttime. The waters hide nothing. Waves consume the shores if the atmosphere allows. When the air is still, tranquil, it speaks nothing. All secrets are kept. Be still. Waters top layer hides what lies underneath. Shining beautifully, the thin glass reflects its Maker. Nature respects the morning. Its appreciation for a new day turns to Job 12. Those without words, speak to creation. They teach, they tell, and inform. The animals, birds and fish will testify of the Lord's great faithfulness to provide. " In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind" Job 12:10.

His beloved set a steady rhythm deep within. The beat gets faster. Faster. Thump, thump, thump. Can you hear it? God quietly encourages the ones he cares for. Just as parent teaches a child to walk, God cheers us on. Keep going, my love. You will fall, you will stumble, but I am here. Listen to your heartbeat, oh Child, know that I am rooting for you.
This day is new. I created you. I love you. Carpe Diem.
